Saitama Medical University presented a letter of appreciation to Prof. Yoshiyuki Nezu.

Prof. Nezu received a certificate of appreciation from Chairman Maruki of Saitama Medical University Corporation for his great contribution to quality assurance of nursing care techniques and patient safety as the chairperson of the executive committee of the "Nursing and Care Technology Project Promotion Committee" at Saitama Medical University, and for introducing the nursing care techniques he developed as "Saitama Medical University Style Assistance Techniques that Require No Force" to all Saitama Medical University groups, achieving "the first standardization of nursing care techniques in Japan.

Prof. Nezu's nursing care techniques, which can be safely and comfortably performed without back pain for the caregiver and pain for the recipient, were published on April 27, 2023 by Kodansha as "Saitama Medical University Style: Comprehensive Techniques for Assistance that Require No Force"!

Dr. Maruki, Chairman of Saitama Medical University Corporation, also presented a certificate of appreciation to Prof. Nezu for his donation of 50 copies of his books, which were created under his guidance, to Saitama Medical University. All the proceeds from the books will be donated to the Saitama Medical University "Nursing and Care Technology Project Promotion Committee" to contribute to the society.
