On June 19, 2023, Prof. Yoshiyuki Nezu was interviewed by the Yomiuri Shimbun regarding his caregiving techniques.

The Yomiuri Shimbun requested through Kodansha to interview Prof. Yoshiyuki Nezu regarding his caregiving techniques, and the interview was conducted at the office of the " Saitama Medical University Nursing and Care Technology Project Promotion Committee ".

“Ekkasai” is a university festival held jointly by the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Health Sciences of Saitama Medical University in the fall, and an event to promote Prof. Nezu's caregiving technique to the public is being planned at the festival.

The interview was very interesting in that we learned how and when Prof. Nezu developed the technique for assisting patients without back pain, the story of how it was born, and how he came to publish the book " Saitama Medical University Style: Comprehensive Skills for Caregiving that Require No Strength with pictures and videos”!

This interview made us believe once again that the spread of the caregiving techniques developed by Prof. Nezu will alleviate the back pain problems of many patients and their families who suffer from nursing care, and will be a "ray of hope" for those who need nursing care and have almost given up on the idea to stay home, to realize their desire to live as they wish until their last breath in their own familiar home.
