Prof. Nezu, a visiting professor at Saitama Medical University and the chairperson of the executive committee of the "Nursing and Care Technology Project Promotion Committee," is currently in charge of first- and second-year elective required classes and third-year behavioral science and medical ethics classes at the Saitama Medical University.
With the declining birthrate and aging society, there is a shortage of medical caregivers, and doctors and patients are increasingly seeing each other alone during outpatient clinic without a nurse present. Doctors are now faced with the need to acquire the skills to assist patients safely and comfortably without back pain.
In order to prevent accidents involving falling down in outpatient clinics, Prof. Nezu lectures to medical students on "the world's first standard caregiving technique introduced by Saitama Medical University Group, which is based on medical evidence!
In the first and second year elective required classes, students (141 first-year students and 131 second-year students) choose the classes they want to take from a list of about 30 classes.
Prof. Nezu's lectures are the most popular every year, both in the first and second semesters, with more than 50 students requesting to attend each lecture.
During the lecture, students who actually experienced Prof. Nezu's caregiving techniques voiced their admiration from all over the place, and all had expressions of surprise as they watched his lecture with great enthusiasm, forgetting that time was running out.
